What is an eFolio?
An electronic portfolio is a multimedia web site designed to store and display academic, career, or institutional accreditation information. It's an opportunity to discuss and reflect upon your experiences, your goals, and more. Unlike a paper document, an eFolio can "come alive" and include documents, audio and video files, links to related sites, examples of your achievements and activities, and detail on your accomplishments. And it can provide for feedback from visitors, and the ability to create specific 'views' for particular audiences. Our portfolio products are designed for sale to organizations, campuses, programs, etc. The hosted platform works for any size organization, but works extremely well for organizations that are not interested in a large enterprise solution.

What is the cost and how is it determined?

Is it easy to use?
Yes! The system is designed to be easy-to-use for any individual and requires only minimal word processing skills. No advanced skills or training in HTML or web publishing are necessary. Using eFolioWorld’s wizard driven system and a Microsoft Word-like text box, practically anyone can build an online portfolio. We'd be glad to provide you with a sample template to 'kick the tires' and see for yourself.

Is there help available to me?
An extensive online Help Site and "Quick Tips" on every screen will help individuals and institutions build and maintain their portfolios. In addition, we maintain a customer call center to support our client community.

Is my portfolio secure?
Yes. Although you need to keep in mind that no site on the Internet is completely secure. For this reason you must consider carefully what content you choose to store on your site. The security settings for your site allow you to decide whether you want to make your entire site or any part of it available for public viewing, or make it 'private' and require a username and password to see the content. This username and password approach can work with either individual visitors or groups of visitors.

What is the next step to learn more?
The best way to learn if an eFolioWorld portfolio system is right for your organization is to schedule a live demonstration. For our demonstrations we set up an online Webex or Breeze session, which allows you to actually be in the product (web and administrative back end). We find that these types of interactive demonstrations are very helpful to view and understand the full capabilities of the system and how adaptable it is to any type of organizational objective.
